Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to view my work. I'm Emily Tichonuk, an industrial+ designer based in Brooklyn, New York. I hold degrees in Industrial Design (BFA) and Sociology & Anthropology (BS) from Rochester Institute of Technology, a combo I use to craft better user experiences through research. My professional experience spans the realms of physical and digital product design.

While at RIT, I was named an Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar (given to the top 1% of the student population for academic and extracurricular excellence), received the School of Design Study Abroad Scholarship to travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, and was nominated for the Kearse Award for outstanding writing in a research paper.

My professional journey has seen me wearing numerous hats, including (but not limited to) roles as a packaging designer, cardboard mockup crafter, style guide complier, and product conceptor. What binds these experiences together is my passion for creating things that bring joy to others, making their lives a little easier or just more fun. Using a human-centered design process, I develop products that charm and empower whoever uses them.

Currently, I am seeking for full time, contract, or freelance work, in-person or remote. If you're seeking an innovative multidisciplinary designer please don't hesitate to reach out.
